No matter how you use the electric double bass, it will always deliver a fantastic tone. If you need an instrument where you can practise in near silence, then simply plug in a pair of headphones. The Stagg bass will sound just like a traditional bass, enabling you to practise in confidence, without disturbing those around you. If you'd rather play out loud, then simply plug into an amplifier and jam out to your favourite music.

Traditional feel, contemporary design

Although the electric bass may look vastly different to a traditional double bass, once you start playing, you'll bearly notice the difference! Just like an acoustic bass, the Stagg electric has a solid Maple neck. Once it's been finished, the electric bass is finished with a gorgeous transparent blue.

The electronics in the bass open up a whole new world of possibilities. On the side of the bass, you can control the sound by using the volume control as well as a bass dial. Outputs on the bass include a standard 6.3 mm output jack and 3.5 mm headphone output jack. You can even plug in your MP3 player via another 3.5 mm jack and play along with your favourite music!

Included accessories

The included gig bag is covered in a smart black material and offers maximum protection. To ensure that you can carry all of your accessories, the inside of the bag boasts a number of handy accessory pockets. There is even a long bow pocket on the outside of the bag.
