Further features are in place to provide you with speaker protection as well. The XPRS-10 features DC offset removal so the speaker shuts down to prevent any further damage if the speaker blows. The XPRS-10 is protected against sudden loud bursts such as feedback which ensure the speaker a long, reliable life.

The Pioneer XPRS-10 is equipped with the powerful class D amp modules that produce 2400W (peak) or 1200W (continuous) output, similar to the output produced by larger club speaker amps. The amps are protected with thermal limiting which cuts the speaker off to prevent overheating as well as being equipped with Power Factor Correction to reduce power consumption to ensure reliability for long periods of time. There is no need to worry about loss of quality when you're DJing or rehearsing as you'll get reliable, steady sound quality constantly. Another feature of the amps is that they reduce the speaker's output to a safe level when output overcurrent occurs. The XPRS-10's auto ranging power supply can be plugged in anywhere in the world without needing to worry about reduction in sound quality as it detects and adapts to the voltage without compromising sound quality.
