The Performance Series now comes with the coveted DW MAG throw-off in a chrome finish. A simple design, the MAG is a workhorse drop throw-off with easy to adjust horizontal tension. Its name comes from a magnet that's built into the body of the throw-off. When the handle is lifted into the upright position it is magnetically held in place, to prevent accidental disengagement. When released, it 'throws' the strainer completely off the head to avoid any strainer buzz.
The Concept Select Bell Bronze's triple-flanged hoops allow the Remo drumhead to vibrate as freely as possible, while also providing a great stick surface for rimshots and cross-sticks.
The inclusion of DW's sought-after True Pitch tuning rods in the Concept Select design, adds incredible tuning accuracy. The rods feature a much tighter thread pattern (5mm compared with a standard 12/24), which adds up to an incredible 20% increase in threads per rod. That means 20% more exact tuning on each and every lug, so you can dial in the precise tone you can hear in your head with ease.
