Product Description

Carve your compression

Easy to use, but with deep adaptability, the Markbass Compressore Bass Compressor Pedal features a remarkably intuitive layout that allows you to compress your bass signal your way:

  • Gain- Give your signal a boost with up to 16dB. Higher levels really starts to bring out additional harmonic content
  • Threshold- This sets the input level at which the signal becomes compressed. Go from subtle colouration, to every note being compressed
  • Ratio- Alters the intensity of the compression
  • Attack- Controls how quickly the sound gets compressed from 2-50ms
  • Release- Adjust when the sound stops being compressed, from 100-750ms
  • Volume- General level control to ensure you sit perfectly in the mix

These controls provide all the tools to access a range of compressed bass tones. Go from natural, open-sounding to gently tighten your tone, through to heavy compression designed to totally reshape your sound. Thanks to the integrated tube that actually performs the compression (rather than just being part of the gain stage), rest assured that everything is wonderfully articulate, without ever becoming muddy. This deep customisability, coupled with the superior sound quality, make this a bassists' new best friend.
